Why I shoot film...

With having almost a decade of practicing the art of photography, I began to find the digital world mundane and monotonous. The art aspect of creating photographs seems to be misguided by megapixels and social media. Shooting a roll of film gives a feeling that is simply indescribable. Load film -- adjust settings -- focus -- shoot; plain, direct and simple. The purpose of this blog is not to persuade people away from digital formats but rather to educate the public on both film cameras and different types of film, in hopes of inspiring someone to dive into the rich history of film photography.
